Geoffrey Stone

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. As a Qualifying member of the CRPO, I practice psychotherapy with clinical supervision as part of the process to becoming an independent Registered Psychotherapist. In pursuit of becoming a better psychotherapist, I have completed numerous professional development training courses and workshops extracurricular to my master’s degree in counselling psychology. I continue to pursue further education in my field through additional courses and workshops, and self-directed readings. I live by the motto: “Never stop learning!”

Regarding my educational background, I completed my Master of Arts – Education: Counselling Psychology program at the University of Ottawa. Prior to that, at Carleton University, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Honours) degree, with a Concentration in Health Psychology, and a minor in Neuroscience and Mental Health. I also completed a Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree at Carleton University, and have been a musician since my early childhood. In my spare time, to create meaning in my life, I enjoy writing, recording, and performing original music; spending time with family and friends; and pursuing greater health, wellness, and physical fitness.
